A Man Disappears - Joseph Robertson - |
|
a man
disappears from view
we are left
to imagine
what stole him
so expertly away?
an infinite discovery
become knowing?
unimaginable
diluvian recognitions?
a light
that preceded light
& so behaves
as incomparable veil
to eyes
that require light?
we are left
to employ imagination
for purposes
of ethical investigation
we are compelled
to uncomplicate
what cannot simply
be understood
by words already
formulated & expressed
we are incensed
to recognize
that where calm
is pressurized
in marketscapes
of ribbonate virtue
a man disappears
continually from view
