Ire's Ore

- Lainey Johr -

hours of stillness
of quiet
unfolding the torrent of mind
patterns of volume and pressure
vaccuous and full
so much inertia
it pains me so
life locked by my breath
frigid to the flash
which is motion

inconspicuous melting of statures
conversation
so much fear

i always come to the same conclusions
circular and quick
my yawn and stretch mentality

we should always inquire
into that which imposes
upon us
that invitation, so irresistable
only around you do i fear
myself

i stand before you
in essence
in dust
in voluminous shudder

how can i tell you
and place your hand where you touch me
they would warm you
my tears

you and i have business
an evolution of exchange
me perfect immelodies

you sense my pause amidst breath
afire
shattered glass impound
in current
jet-stream anger
lost in purity
of sight

i like your anger
but i do not think you share it
as you know
i don't share mine

i never wanted a 'shared' supplemented
with words
as sentiment

your quest for happiness
to pull it out of yourself
and into the world
of awakenings

a treasure chest of lightning
fragilities
of love for earth
for admiration for life
for respect for truth

in pieces unseen

i doubt in you
it is nourishing
i see my frailty
life soaked in scents
of shared breaths
wording
a stone to lace

tearing down the walls
which hold me
still in the open
